HAIR CARE AGREEMENT INFORMATION

Home After Care Information

Following the after care recommendations properly and thoroughly is the only way that the Salon can guarantee healthy and safe wear of the hair extensions applied. However, after care at home cannot be monitored or enforced by the Stylist, therefore it will be up to the Client to upkeep all steps and accept responsibility for results if any steps are missed. 


Washing:

  • Use sulfate-free, paraben free and alcohol-free shampoos and conditioners.
  • Carefully condition from the mid section to ends, avoid applying conditioner directly to the roots or tape/adhesive area.
  • Gently shampoo wash your hair, avoiding aggressive scrubbing or rubbing.
  • Rinse thoroughly to remove all product residue. 
  • Avoid washing hair for 48 hours after installation (Tape and fusion). 

Drying:

  • Gently squeeze out excess water using a towel, but avoid rubbing or twisting the hair.
  • Allow the hair to air dry whenever possible to minimize heat damage.
  • If using a blow dryer, use a low heat setting and a heat protectant spray.

Brushing:

  • ALWAYS use a leave-in conditioner or oils to maintain moisture and reduce dryness. 
  • Use a wide-toothed comb or a soft bristle brush to detangle the hair gently.
  • Start from the ends and work your way up, but avoid going over bonds. 
  • Hold hair firmly at the scalp when brushing to avoid excess pulling on the extensions. 
  • Separate bonds to avoid tangling/matting (single strand installations) 

Styling:

  • ALWAYS use a heat protectant 
  • Use heat styling tools on a low or medium heat setting to prevent damage.
  • Avoid going over bonds (fusion and tapes) with any heat from styling tools (straightener, curling iron and blow dryer) 

Sleeping:

  • NEVER sleep with wet hair.
  • Tie your hair in a loose braid or ponytail to prevent tangling while sleeping.
  • Use a satin or silk pillowcase to reduce friction and minimize hair breakage.

Swimming:

  • Before swimming, thoroughly wet your hair with clean water to reduce chlorine or saltwater absorption.
  • Wear a swim cap to protect the extensions from harsh pool chemicals.
  • After swimming, rinse your hair with clean water and apply leave-in conditioner.

Maintenance Appointments:

  • Schedule regular maintenance appointments as recommended by your stylist.
  • Do not attempt to remove or reapply the extensions yourself.

Excessive handling:

It is crucial to maintaining the longevity and quality of your extensions. Frequent touching, pulling, or fidgeting with the extensions can cause damage, loosening, or tangling of the hair, leading to premature wear and tear. This will ensure your hair extensions will stay in optimal condition.

After Appointment Expectations:

  • Any installation will feel tight upon installation, but after 48 hours, the natural hair will grow out and release some of the tension. It is the responsibility of the Client to contact the Stylist WITHIN 48 hours if further discomfort is experienced. 
  • The Stylist will contact the client 1 week after installation to discuss results.
  • The Stylist will set a 6 week check in (video chat). The Stylist will then set an appointment date for when the Client needs to return for maintenance. 

RESOURCES AND POLICES

Booking Process

• A consultation will be booked where stylist will colour match and and confirm length and amount of hair needed/desired for install.

• A non-refundable deposit will be taken in order for hair to be ordered.

• Once a delivery date is confirmed, client will be contacted regarding an installation appointment.

Appointment Expectations

• Client will be sent a reminder 24 hours in advance. 

• Client will arrive with clean, washed hair; if hair is not suitable for install, appointment will be rescheduled as washing is unavailable at salon. 

• Aftercare will be explained to client. 

• Maintenance appointment will be discussed and suggested. 

REFUNDS & DEPOSITS

• All hair extension deposits are 100% non-refundable. • Please ensure you are certain of your purchase before you order. 

• Additionally, once the service has been completed, there are no refunds on any aspect of the costs associated with the product and/or service. 

• In the event that there is a manufacturer defect, we will look at replacing the hair for you within 30 days of purchase. 

• Please contact us immediately if you are experiencing issues, we strive for excellence and client happiness in a wholesome safe and respectful environment. 


As such, we are always open to finding an amicable solution outside of a refund that will suit your needs.
